As the founder of the Legacy Development Group, Jessica Lisenby is elevating Houston custom homebuilding to new heights, backed by a dream team of the area’s best design, build and real estate talent.
Jessica has a long connection to impeccable homes and architecture thanks to her father-in-law, a high-end builder, and her upbringing among the creole cottages and regal residence of New Orleans. Before launching Legacy Development Group, she crafted five phenomenal homes for her own family, perfecting and solidifying her philosophy each time.
Jessica is well-traveled and completely down-to-earth with an effortlessly stylish design aesthetic. Always striving to balance beauty with efficiency, her logical approach to home design is rooted in her own busy lifestyle: Jessica is an in-demand nurse anesthetist, wife to oil executive Gray Lisenby and mom to four young children. She believes that a home should be both a serene sanctuary and an inviting gathering place. Each Legacy Development Group residence reflects that attitude by embracing impeccable craftsmanship and timeless elegance and incorporating a sensible flow and the modern conveniences that make life easier, calmer and better.
This reimaging of luxury homebuilding filled a specific void in the Houston market, and Jessica decided to assemble her team of vetted home building and design professionals under the Legacy Development Group banner. With 35 years of construction experience, Rob Mackey brings a thoughtful, creative approach to people and projects. His experience reaches across the country from the East Coast to the West, from restorations of brownstones in Boston to high-end restaurants in Chicago and warehouse conversions in Houston. Over the years, he has refined his love of architecture to think deeply about a space’s ability to be redesigned for new uses. He most enjoys collaborating with clients to help complete their vision of their project. Rob, his wife, their two sons and three dogs live in Houston.
